It is with congratulations and warm wishes that we announce the retirement of our colleague, Cynthia (Cindy) S. Richart, RPh, Vice President, Pharmacy Operations.
Cindy’s career with Phoebe began on March 9, 1998, when she was hired to start an in-house Pharmacy for Phoebe Ministries. Twenty-five years later, Cindy oversees four Pharmacy locations with more than $27 million in annual revenue.
She has managed many technology projects, including implementing pharmacy business software, robotic packaging machines, remote dispensing cabinets, and interfaced electronic medication records.
She has been personally responsible for the budget and revenue cycle for all aspects of the pharmaceutical supply chain.
The Phoebe Pharmacy operates 7 days a week, providing dispensing and clinical services to over 3000 individuals, and filling hundreds of prescriptions daily.
The clients served include our employees, our residents in independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and more than 30 other long-term care communities in our geographic region.
In 2020, during the pandemic, while many of our peer long-term care pharmacy managers narrowed their vision, Cindy looked beyond the Phoebe Pharmacy customer base. She worked tirelessly to provide COVID-19 lab testing services, countless vaccine clinics, and monoclonal antibody infusion services to dozens of retirement communities, many that were not Phoebe Pharmacy customers, to ensure the long-term care community would receive these vital services.
Frank Tiano, Jr., Executive Director of the Pharmacy, will transition into the leadership role effective January 1, 2024.
Please welcome Frank into his new role, join us in thanking Cindy for her 25-year dedication and service to Phoebe Ministries, and offer her our best wishes for a happy retirement.
