Center Valley, PA– Twenty of Phoebe Pharmacy’s VIP clients enjoyed a private luncheon during the Phoebe Institute on Aging Spring Conference “Understanding Mental Health and Older Adults” at DeSales University on May 9th. Attendees enjoyed an offsite opportunity to get to know one another and have time with Phoebe Pharmacy leadership. Partners from Caron Foundation, Moravian Hall Square, Lutheran Community at Telford, and Holy Family Manor were some of the luncheon guests.
Everyone received an autographed copy of “Sanity and Grace”, an autobiographical text written by legendary folk singer, author and advocate Judy Collins who gave the keynote at the day-long conference.
Mental health focused topics included a presentation by Shane Lawrence, Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services, and Cindy Richart, Vice president of Phoebe Pharmacy, highlighting the role of prescription medications in addiction with a spotlight on medications commonly associated with misuse and abuse among seniors. Over 300 participants attended the conference.
