The allure of a new employee with a freshly pruned resume can be tempting for many companies, but the philosophy of Cindy Richart, Vice President of Pharmacy Operations, is to encourage and empower her employees to grow into new professional roles within Phoebe Pharmacy. As an organization that consistently promotes from within, Phoebe Pharmacy hosts a large group of long-term employees who have moved up through the ranks during their careers at Phoebe. Promotions are based on employees’ personal strengths and preparedness to evolve with the necessities of the flourishing operation.
This spring will see the cultivation of three new staff appointments from within Phoebe Pharmacy:
Pam Getz’s expertise will transition from Director for the Lehigh Phoebe Pharmacy in Allentown to the Lancaster Phoebe Pharmacy in East Petersburg. A perennial Pharmacy employee since 2009, Pam will continue to be responsible for managing daily operations and strengthening relationships with Lancaster-based customers.
Bill Heinz, currently a Staff Pharmacist, will now be Pharmacy Manager at the Lehigh Phoebe Pharmacy.
Matthew Brightbill, also currently a Staff Pharmacist, is promoted to Lead Pharmacist at the Lancaster Phoebe Pharmacy.
Richart is pleased to see Pharmacy employees thriving and growing. “Clinical knowledge and customer service are critical in successfully serving our customers, and when I see these characteristics represented in the employees, I want to do what I can to ensure they stay here at the Pharmacy,” says Richart.
